Week one menu continued

So while our prime rib sliders are cooking in the oven we are going to need something to snack on during pre-game. Look no further than to a dish that is quickly becoming a staple at tailgate and football parties. Buffalo Chicken Dip. I first tried this dish at a MLB All-star game get together a few years back. I fell in love right away. For such a simple dish its hard to beat when it comes to dips and appetizers.

The ingredients consist of five things. Chicken shredded (either fresh cooked or canned both work great), Franks Red Hot, Ranch Dressing, cream cheese, and shredded Monterrey Jack or what ever cheese you prefer. Don't for get the tortilla chips and you are ready to go

This app will definitely please the crowd and yourself as you get the main dishes ready for your guest.

Betting Futures on the National Championship

We are going to start off the day by discussing what we think are the best odds to take on a team winning the National Championship. Now it may seem obvious that Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan, and USC should all be favorites this year and they are. Which is why we will stay away from them. If you are very confident in a team then throwing a couple hundred on say USC at 7-1 would seem like a easy bet. $200 to win $1,400 would be a nice win. but your odds of hitting that are few. So today we are going to focus on those teams that a $20 bet would bring great profits.

Oklahoma State 33-1

Oklahoma State is gong to have one of if not the best QB/WR combos in the nation this year. Mason Rudolph and James Washington should wreak havoc on opposing defenses this year. Justice Hill will run behind a veteran line so this offense is going to put up 40 ppg this year. So whats the problem? Defense! This defense will be decent but look for them to give up big plays and hope the offense can match them. The schedule sets-up ok but if they are going slip up it will be the back to back road games at Texas and WVU with Oklahoma waiting in the wings the following week in Stillwater.

Louisville 40-1

Lamar Jackson is back. he was electrifying last season but he lost his top three targets from last season so those new inexperienced very talented youngsters will need to step up. Could defense be the difference on a Petrino coached team? Seems unlikely although they had a really good defense most of last year and they do have nine starters returning. If new defensive coordinator Sirmon can get them on the same page they could be a really good defense. A revenge game in Tallahassee is going to be huge. For this bet to have any chance they have to go undefeated!

UCLA 100-1

Josh Rosen should be better this year and you will have cross your fingers he stays healthy. UCLA has plenty of weapons to work with even though the PAC-12 is a lot better than last year. Jedd Fisch is in control of the Offense this season and he has to find a way to get the running game going so that teams aren't just targeting the pass rush on Rosen. The defense will be manned by probably the best safety tandem in college football in Wadood and Pickett but the rest of the defense will need to gel early. One major problem with this bet is UCLAs schedule. Road games to Stanford, Arizona, Washington, Utah and USC might be too much to overcome in the end.

Some other interesting picks that just missed our list

Texas 40-1
Tennessee 75-1
Oregon 100-1
Arizona 1,000-1

Good Luck and Happy Betting!
